There are three UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Georgia. Gelati XII century monastery in Imereti region, historical monuments of Mtskheta and Upper Svaneti. Day 2 - Kutaisi City Tour, Gelati and Motsameta Monasteries

Kutaisi City Tour - Kutaisi is one of the oldest cities in the world. During the City Tour we will walk around the city center with a guide, visit sightseeing in the historic districts and other places of interest.
After completing the Kutaisi hiking tour, we will move to Ukimerioni Hill and visit the Bagrati Temple, which was built in 1003 by the first King of United Georgia, Bagrat III. The temple is an excellent example of medieval Georgian architecture.
We will drive from Kutaisi in the direction of Motsameta Monastery. The monastery was built in VIII-XI centuries, it is located in the beautiful gorge of the river Tskaltsitela.
Lunch.
Gelati Monastery, founded by the greatest Georgian king David IV the Builder. Its construction began in 1106 and was completed in 1130. Gelati Monastery was the religious, cultural and educational center of Georgia. The main landmark of the complex is the Cathedral of the Virgin, which has reached us in its original form. The painting of the dome of the temple dates back to the 12th century. Noteworthy is the mosaic composition of the Virgin and the Archangels in the sanctuary, which dates from 1125-1130. The frescoes on the walls of the monastery were renewed in the 16th and 18th centuries, although a 12th century fresco is preserved in the western stoa. Gelati Monastery is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 3 - Historical monuments of Mtskheta

Departure to Eastern Georgia.
Mtskheta is a town museum and its historical monuments are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The main sights of Mtskheta are Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and Jvari Monastery. Svetitskhoveli Cathedral was built in the 11th century and is the largest historical church building in Georgia among the survivors. Jvari Monastery is located east of Mtskheta, at the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers, on the top of a rocky mountain. It dates back to the VI century.

Day 4 - Free day, rest in the hotel

Day 5 - Svaneti - the highest mountainous part of Georgia.
05:00 Departure to Svaneti. Guests are provided with lunchboxes.
Svaneti Region. This beautiful mountainous region is one of the highest mountainous settlements in Europe.
On the way we will visit the Enguri Dam, which is a member of the European Industrial Heritage Route.
Visiting Mestia. Mestia is a small town in Svaneti, which is distinguished by its amazing, beautiful nature and abundance of cultural monuments. Visitors will see unique Svanian towers dating back to the 13th century. Views of the Caucasus peaks and beautiful villages can be seen from Mestia.
Lunch - Delicious Svan cuisine.
Departure to Ushguli. Visiting the village of Chajashi in the Ushguli community, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Dinner and overnight in Ushguli or Mestia.
Day 6 - Svaneti - Hotel Prometheus Epic and Spa

Departure to Mestia. Visiting the Svaneti History Museum.
